Runnin a little behind...

So I am running a little behind on Braxton's 8 month Stats...

~ 28lbs 15oz~

~ 31inches (yes, he has grown 2 inches in a month)~

~Braxton takes around 24-32 ounces of milk per day,

he also eats about 3 to 4 jars of fruits and veggies per day~

~Braxton is wearing 24months -2t clothes, after close examination I have discovered there is only about 1/2 inch different in size.~

~As winter closely approaches, socks have become difficult, due to the size of Braxton's legs he must wear no show socks. The others only fall or cut into his legs.~

~He officially has 2 teeth...they arrived together~

~Crawling is Braxton's new favorite thing to do, he gets tired and has to take breaks often.~

~I soon think that Braxton will be walking, he pulls up and wants to stand alone all the time~
~ So that's really about all I have...I'm actually in class so I guess I should be paying attention.
I do hope to graduate in MAY!!~

And the last...isn't he most the adorable thing you have ever seen?
OH...I almost the forgot the most important thing....for those of you who know me..you know I'm the most impatient person in the world..so for the past seven months I have been patiently awaiting a tooth...and tonight I felt one...so needless to say I'm so excited! Yeah for us..You can really only feel it...so as soon as it gets through I'll get the post up!!!

Background Check

Since I have waited until Braxton was 6months old to start blogging I have decided to give you a "background check" on my little one!
Mom and I headed to Lexington to the doctor on Thursday, for my weekly check-up, Braxton was due Saturday 7th. Braxton's movement had slowed down significantly since my last visit. So after being hooked up to the monitor and a ultrasound we learned that my amniotic fluid was low, and I was getting free trip to Central Baptist Hospital! Eric, Mom and I arrived about 7p.m. on Thursday night, to get settled in for induction on Friday. After a restless night of sleep, 6 a.m. finally arrived and it was time for the pioticin, the contractions really didn't get bad until after my water was broke at 9:30! Three hours later my epidural finally arrived, I was very excited, only to find out later it would wear off....TWICE! Some 9 hours, bruises, things I don't remember and a lack of an epidural later Braxton finally arrived at 6:24 p.m. on March 6th!! Weighing in at a whopping 8lbs 2oz and 20 1/2 inches long...with the worst case of the cone head ever seen!

Dispite his cone head, my delusion and that bright light...he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. And he looked nothing like I had envisioned...The entire time I was pregnant I expected a blue eyed baby, with blond hair (if he had any)! When my little bundle of joy arrived he had dark hair and dark eyes! Needless to say we were all shocked!

A New Adventure (for Mommy)

So everyone has been blogging about their babies and I feel I should start about Braxton...because everyone wants to know whats going on in his daily life! I very much enjoying reading everyone blogs about how their little ones are developing each month and I want to do the same.

Well in case you didn't know Braxton turn 6 months old TODAY! @ 6:24pm to be exact!

* As of last Friday Braxton weighed 26lbs 2oz and was 28inches long

* He currently wears 18-24 months clothes

* Shoes aren't an option....his feet are too FAT!

* He takes anywhere from 24-28ounces of formula daily

* After starting on solids...he refuses to eat cereal! Its no longer something he enjoys.

* Peas aren't is favorite! He gaged on them!

* Sweet Potatoes and Carrots were defiantly a hit!

* We still haven't eaten any fruits..I am trying all the veggies first!

* Braxton can sit up all alone now...and he loves it! Playing in the floor has become his favorite
thing. Rolling over is also a big deal!

* He loves to watch t.v...the wonder pets usually!

* He has learned the word "DA" and Eric thinks it the most wonderful thing in the world!

"DA" is now the only word Braxton says!
